The historic Manama Souq is one of Bahrain’s major attractions, mixing contemporary and traditional Bahraini culture. Its narrow pathways, lined on both sides by old buildings, made capturing a scaled and accurate 3D replica a demanding job.
Mapalytics scanned the area and produced a digital double for scan-to-BIM. Architects are using this data to plan the uplift of the historic facades.
