General Gallery
The General Gallery houses objects and collections donated to the Lahore Museums from various private collections. This gallery holds a spectrum of varied works that include manuscripts, metal and glass ware, potsherds and other archaeological finds, coins, medals and miscellaneous objects presented by Maulana Hifz ur Rehman (1966). African objects presented by architect and historian Kamil Khan Mumtaz in 1971.
This gallery also displays objects of material and decorative significance such as wooden effigies from Kafiristan and wooden doors from Haveli Hari Singh Nalwa, Gujranwala and the Temple of Bava Lal Nath from the Jhang region.
